Oryan LLC (“Prozollo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at www.prozollo.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
We have written this in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us — the contact details are at the end.
Information we collect
Information you give us
We collect the information you choose to send us. Depending on how you use the Site, that may include:
- Any information contained in correspondence you send us, including attachments.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers record technical information each time a page is requested. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you came from, the pages you view, and the date and time of each request. We use this to keep the Site running, to diagnose faults, and to detect abuse.
If you leave a comment or upload a file, the Site may also record the information contained in that submission, including any location data embedded in an uploaded image. You can strip that data from an image before uploading it.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from the service providers we use to run the Site — for example a payment processor confirming a transaction, an email platform reporting that a message was opened, or a spam filter flagging a submission. We may also receive information you have chosen to make public elsewhere, such as on a professional networking profile.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you ask for.
- Operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site.
- Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- Keep proper business records and comply with our legal obligations.
- Establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use your personal information to make decisions about you by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Our legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so:
- Contract — where processing is necessary to provide something you have asked for, such as fulfilling an order or answering an enquiry.
- Legitimate interests — to run, secure and improve the Site and our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. We balance this in each case.
- Consent — for optional cookies and for marketing messages. You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for payment.
We share personal information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Companies that host the Site, deliver our email, process payments, filter spam, or provide analytics, acting on our instructions and bound to protect the information.
- Professional advisers. Accountants, insurers and lawyers, where necessary.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or a lawful request from a public authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged or reorganised, personal information may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction. We will tell you if that happens and it materially changes how your information is handled.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. What each one does, and how to control them, is set out in our Cookie Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, and for as long as we are required to keep it by law. In practice that means:
- Enquiries and correspondence: for as long as needed to deal with the matter, and then for a reasonable period afterwards as a business record.
- Server logs: for a short operational period, unless retained longer for a security investigation.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so that it can no longer be linked to you.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and keeping the software behind the Site up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator as required by law.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you are, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy of it.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.
- Stop sending you marketing messages.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
If you are a resident of a US state with a privacy law
Several US states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and others — give residents specific rights over personal information. Depending on your state, these include the right to know what is collected and disclosed, the right to a copy of your information in a portable form, the right to correct it, the right to have it deleted, the right to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and the right to appeal a decision we make about your request.
As stated above, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If you would like to exercise any other right, contact us using the details below. You may use an authorised agent, and we may ask for proof of that authorisation.
If you are in the EEA or the UK
In addition to the rights above, you may object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved, and ask for a copy of your information in a machine-readable format to send to another provider. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
International transfers
We and some of our service providers are based in the United States, so personal information may be transferred to and processed in a country whose data protection laws differ from those where you live. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on an appropriate safeguard recognised under those laws, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, together with any additional measures the circumstances require.
Children
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
The Site links to websites we do not control. Following one of those links takes you somewhere governed by that site’s own privacy policy, not by this one. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing personal information.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how a website should respond to that signal, so the Site does not currently respond to it. We will update this section if a standard is adopted.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site changes or as the law does. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention rather than relying on the revised date alone.
